Happy 2nd Birthday CCSBR!

In just 2 short years Central Coast Sports Bike Riders has grown from about 6 people to nearly 300 online users and approximately 60+ regular riders. This past two years has been very busy and I personally have made some great friends. The birthday is one of my favorite rides of the year. We all hang out and do the thing we love, ride motorcycles. Thanks to everyone that has been a part of CCSBR of the past two years, I’m sure there will be many more to come.
The day turned out to have the perfect weather. We had all been watching the radar the night before. Holding our breath to see if the rain would stop. It sprinkled in the morning but fined up very quickly. The further turned it on and we had sunny skies all the way to Lake Macquarie!
At West Gosford MacDonalds we took over the car park. 50+ motorcycles of varying makes, models and ages filled the grounds. After a short break to catch and organize the first leg the crew set out with Bladerunner leading the charge.

One of thins I love about this ride is that we slow down and are on show to the public. Little children lined the side of the road through the entrance as the roar of many a sports exhaust rumbled its way through the street. One little sticks in my mind. She stood at the crossing madly having, eyes as wide as they could be. We arrived at the water front taking nearly half the car park once again. The heat was rising and was the mood all the riders and pillions. Many members of the general public came down to have a look at all the bikes, many a wide eyed child in tow!
Heading out from The Entrance we made way through Budgewoi Doyalson and Swansea, some of the most beatufal coastline in Australia. A quick regroup and veryone filed into Lake Macquarie Yacht Club. The club gave us a fantastic location on the lake to sit back and chat, tell lies and catch with a great bunch of people!

All day allI saw was smiles and people having a great time. This ride is possibly one of the best I have ever been on and really shows theindividual and the public what CCSBR is all about! Thankyou to Tim 650, Kurstine, Bladerunner, Draven, Jackal San, Medic all the other group riders that I have forgot and of course Pabs!
